Products and information
The main features, materials, size, availability and price are listed on each product page. The photographs represent the product as accurately as possible, but colours may appear different depending on the screen. In the case of hand-painted designs and textiles, minor visual differences may occur, which do not affect the key features.
The care and usage information forms part of the product description and should be followed.
03
Prices and discounts
Prices are final for the customer and include applicable taxes. Delivery costs are shown separately before the order is confirmed. The final amount due is displayed in the summary on the checkout page.
Where a discount is advertised, the previous price is determined in accordance with the applicable rules regarding the lowest price during the preceding period. An obvious technical error in the price is not binding on the parties if the consumer could reasonably have recognised it. In such a case, we will offer confirmation of the correct price or a refund at no cost.
04
Ordering and concluding a contract
- Select a product and quantity, then add them to your basket.
- In the WooCommerce checkout, you enter your delivery and payment details.
- Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button, you can review and correct your entry.
- By submitting your order, you are making a binding purchase request.
- The contract is deemed to have been concluded when you receive confirmation that the order has been accepted, unless the message explicitly states that only the request has been received.
05
Payment
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include debit or credit card and cash on delivery. Card payments are processed by a payment service provider. La Cocona does not store full payment card details.
If payment is declined or fails, the order may remain unprocessed until a valid payment method is selected.
06
Delivery and transfer of risk
We deliver to the addresses and via the methods specified at the time of ordering. The usual estimated delivery time for Bulgaria is 24 to 48 hours after dispatch. If a different delivery time has been agreed, that takes precedence. In the event of an unforeseen delay, we will notify you via the contact details provided.
The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer upon physical receipt of the goods by the consumer or a person designated by them, unless the consumer has themselves chosen a carrier not offered by the trader.
Further details can be found on the page Delivery and payment.
07
Right of withdrawal
The consumer may withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day on which they, or a person designated by them, receive the goods. It is sufficient to send an unambiguous statement by email or using the standard form before the expiry of this period. This right does not require prior approval from the trader. This is in accordance with Articles 50 and 52 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Once notified, the goods must be returned within 14 days. The exact address of the courier/parcel service and the recipient’s details will be sent in writing once the request has been registered. The direct costs of a standard return are borne by the customer. In the case of incorrect, damaged or non-compliant goods, the applicable costs are borne by the trader.
The goods may only be inspected to the extent necessary to establish their nature and characteristics. Where the goods are handled beyond what is necessary and this results in a proven reduction in value, the consumer is liable only for that reduction in accordance with Article 55(4) of the Consumer Protection Act. Opened or missing packaging does not in itself lead to an automatic refusal, but its unnecessary destruction may be taken into account in the individual assessment if it can be proven to have reduced the value.
The full instructions and the sample are available at Returns and complaints.
08
Refunds
In the event of a valid cancellation, we will refund the payments received, including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery, within 14 days of being notified. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof of their dispatch, in accordance with Article 54(4) of the Consumer Protection Act. The amount will be refunded using the same payment method, unless otherwise expressly agreed and provided this does not incur any cost to the consumer.
Returned products are subject to a documented individual inspection. If there is an actual reduction in value due to handling beyond what is necessary for inspection, the refund amount may be adjusted only in proportion to the proven loss. We will inform you of the reason and the method of calculation; we do not apply an automatic penalty for opened packaging.
09
Discrepancies and complaints
The consumer is legally protected if the goods do not comply with the contract. This is separate from the voluntary 14-day returns policy and is not limited by those terms. The statutory liability for non-conformity of new goods lasts for at least two years from the date of delivery.
In the event of a defect, you may request that the goods be brought into conformity through repair or replacement, and where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract. The assessment is free of charge for the consumer.
10
Reviews and user-generated content
Reviews may be moderated before publication. We do not permit illegal content, other people’s personal data, insults, spam or advertising. Moderation does not alter the meaning of the original review. Where it has been technically verified that the author has purchased the product, this may be noted.
11
Intellectual property
The brand, original illustrations, photographs, texts and design are protected by applicable law. Personal, non-commercial viewing and sharing of links is permitted. Copying, reproducing, selling or using the content for commercial purposes requires prior authorisation.
12
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. La Cocona shall not be liable for any disruption caused by external systems or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, but shall use reasonable endeavours to restore the service and fulfil orders placed.
13
Personal data
Data processing is described in Privacy Policy, and the technologies used in Cookie Policy.
14
Complaints, disputes and applicable law
Please contact us first at sales@lacocona.com, so that we can find a quick solution. You can also submit a complaint to The Consumer Protection Commission, as well as to use a recognised body for the alternative resolution of consumer disputes, where applicable.
The EU’s online dispute resolution platform was discontinued in 2025, so we do not provide a broken link to it.
Bulgarian law applies, without this depriving the consumer of the mandatory protection afforded by the EU Member State in which they habitually reside. Disputes shall be settled by the competent court in accordance with the applicable rules.
15
Changes to the terms and conditions
The terms and conditions in force at the time of dispatch apply to the order. Updates apply from the date of publication onwards and are published with a new date. If any individual clause is invalid, the remaining clauses shall continue to apply.
